Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Archive of the unpublished original anonymous (the author(s)'s details should not appear in it, nor any reference that identifies them) article, it has not been previously published, nor has it been submitted for consideration by any other journal.
  • The article fully complies with the current publication standards and guidelines for authors of this journal and is submitted along with all the requested documents. Failure to comply with any of the above elements will result in rejection of my submission.

  • The received submission will be subjected to a similarity review using iThenticate software, identifying matches between the submitted text and previously published works in other sources. A maximum similarity percentage of 20% is allowed. If this percentage is exceeded due to the absence of one or more citations, the article will be returned to the author and rejected.
  • Citations and references should follow the style proposed in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), 7th Edition.Whenever possible, the DOI is provided in the references section.
  • Register all authors (maximum 3) of the article at the time of submission, each author must have their corresponding individual registration on this platform with their associated ORCID.
    All authors must be registered at the time of submission. Late author registration will NOT be accepted, with ANY EXCEPTION.
    The curriculum vitae, email address, and ORCID fields for each of the authors of the article in question must be completed.
    The corresponding author must be identified, and the progress of the contribution review will be monitored with them.
    No author or co-author may appear more than once in the same issue, and a minimum of one and a half years must pass before they can be published again.
  • Cover file with the authors' data Cover Format (name of the author(s) - these names should only appear on this cover- and the CV of each of the author(s) of no more than 4 lines with the following data: academic degrees, current position, institution, ORCID scientific identifier, research group -if applicable- and email of each one. The order of the authors must correspond to the level of participation in the work)
  • Declaration of authorship signed by no more than 3 authors (free format). Declaration - Author Declaration - Co-author
  • Letter of no conflict of interest (free format)

Author Guidelines

Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of recent submissions. Go to Log in to an existing account or Register a new account.

As part of the submission process, authors are required to ensure their submission meets all of the criteria listed below. Submissions that do not meet these guidelines will be returned to authors.

  1. The document must be a scientific article within the Economics and Administrative Sciences and related sciences in Spanish and English. The authors' and their institutions' information should not be included in the Word file (included on the cover page) to facilitate anonymous peer review. This information will be added during the final editing process.

2.The article format must meet the following requirements:

2a. It must be submitted in Word, using 12-point Times New Roman font with 1.5 line spacing, justified paragraphs; all margins at 2.5 centimeters; and pagination below the bottom of the page.

2b. The article must be 15 to 20 pages long, including graphs and charts without references. The text must not be written using any template.

2c. Charts, graphs, images, and figures must be numbered and have a title at the top in 10-point Times New Roman and a font at the bottom. Format with single line spacing, 0 before and 6 after paragraphs, and a hanging indent of 0.51, and in editable format.

2d. Section headings will be at three levels: Level 1: Centered heading in bold, capitalized, numbered. Level 2: Left-aligned heading in bold, with upper and lower case, and numbered. Level 3: Italicized heading, with upper and lower case.

2e. Citations and references should follow the style proposed in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), 7th Edition (download here). Whenever possible, the DOI is provided in the references section.

  1. The body of the document must include:

3a) Title in Spanish and English. If the article is written in Spanish, it must contain the title in Spanish in Times Roman 14 pt, centered and bold. The title in English must be in Times Roman 12 pt, centered and bold. If it is written in English, the format is the opposite.

3b) Abstract in Spanish and English in Times New Roman 11 pt, with the word "Abstract" in bold and centered. It must contain no more than 200 words.

3c) Keywords and corresponding JEL (Journal of Economic Literature) codes in Spanish and English (no more than 5). Keywords in Spanish and English must be in Times New Roman 11 pt, bold, and centered. JEL (Journal of Economic Literature) codes must be included in English and Spanish on the first page.

3d) Introduction or presentation of the article.

3e) Theoretical, conceptual, or reference development of the research / Literature review.

3f) Methodology / Methodological design of the research.

3g) Discussion or argumentation of the results.

3h) Conclusions and social, business, or governmental implications (scope of work).
