Design of a Strategic Plan for the El Fresno Pre-fattening Company in Granados, Sonora

The aim of this paper is the development of an Strategic
Plan for El Fresno, a company mostly focused on the
pre-fattening of cattle, whose objective is the export and
commercialize cattle mainly with the United States. The
company has been in the market for 19 years, during
this period it has had some deficiencies that lie in the
lack of strategic planning since the activities have been
carried out in an empirical and traditional way, and at
the same time that means that it has had other issues
due to not having clear what they want to accomplish
and how to do it. In order to carry out the research,information gathering techniques
were used, in this particular case
unstructured interviews were
conducted with the company’s
General Director, in order to
obtain accurate information for
the development of this project,
which were performed directly
at the facilities of the company,
where the direct observation of the
process was also used, manually
controlling the data and following
the recommendations of those in
charge of the company.
